Penelope Brennan
Penelope is a CERI (Center for Effective Reading Instruction) certified Dyslexia Interventionist with 32 years experience teaching in Title 1 Public Schools in California, New York, and Massachusetts. Penelope has a Masters Degree in Reading, All Levels and holds current MA Professional licenses in Early Childhood, K-2, Elementary, 1-6, including endorsements in Special Education, K-6, English as a Second Language, K-6, and Reading, K-12. She is certified in the Orton Gillingham approach to reading and trained in the Wilson Reading System and IMSE Morphology.
Penelope is passionate about teaching reading to all students and firmly believes that all children and adults can become readers with the right support. Penelope is a member of the International Literacy Association and the Institute for Multisensory Education. She continually takes courses to update her knowledge on the Science of Reading and to add to her teaching toolbox. She lives in Massachusetts with her husband and has a grown up son.
