Whether your child has an IEP that isn’t helping them meet their goals, or your child is falling behind in class and not reading at grade level, we will give them the instruction they need to read at or above grade level and build their confidence along the way.
Homeschool Students
Teaching a child to read, especially one who is struggling, is very different from teaching a child about history or science! It’s the most important life skill a child needs to learn, yet it's often one of the biggest sources of frustration for homeschool families. At Literacy Tree, we partner with parents to take the pressure off while keeping you connected to your child’s progress. Our expert teachers provide targeted reading instruction and help you understand what your child is learning so you can reinforce it at home, if you choose.
We work with hundreds of homeschool students, giving parents more time to focus on other subjects while helping children become confident, independent readers. And because instruction happens in small groups, students also get valuable social time—building connections and even friendships with peers across the country.
Investment
We discuss program investment individually, as it is dependent on where your child assesses and how much time they will need in the program to work towards grade level reading. Literacy Tree’s cost is comparable to other, less qualified tutoring programs, however the teachers on our team are expert reading specialists, certified in evidence-based literacy and the Science of Reading, with decades of experience specifically working with struggling readers. Most other tutoring programs hire unqualified tutors to teach a program that is not science-based and proven. This is why many of our clients are now working with us after spending lost time and money on programs that didn’t work.
