Ms. Marnee holds both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Education and Education Leadership. She is Lexia trained in the Science of Reading and loves bringing that training into her current role as an instructional coach for grades K-8. As an educator, Ms. Marnee is committed to giving all students access to high quality literacy and writing instruction. Her greatest joy in life is helping students become avid readers and lifelong learners. Her experience as an educator, an instructional coach, and a person who loves to learn, she holds the deep conviction that every child deserves a champion who holds conviction in the belief of a student’s abilities they don’t yet have in themselves.Marnee Burrus joined the Literacy Tree team in October 2023, bringing a deep passion for empowering young learners through foundational reading skills. Holding a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership alongside a Literacy Endorsement, Marnee combines strategic administrative insight with specialized instructional expertise.
