LaToyha Washington is an Early Literacy Specialist and LETRS Facilitator with 18 years of experience in education. She has served as a classroom teacher, literacy coach, and elementary school administrator and holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a master's degree in Reading Education (K–12), and a master's degree in School Administration. LaToyha is passionate about helping educators and students succeed through evidence-based literacy instruction and believes every child can become a confident, successful reader with the right support. Nothing brings her greater joy than seeing young readers discover their confidence and potential.

Outside of work, LaToyha enjoys cheering on her two sons as their biggest baseball fan, making memories on family adventures, and staying active in her community. She lives in North Carolina with her husband, their two sons, and their beloved Rottweiler, Dolee.
