Kerry Crook
For over 25 years, Kerry Crook has been a highly accomplished educator in Knoxville, TN. With a Master of Science in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction and extensive post-graduate study, she is a certified K-8 Teacher and Special Education/Interventionist. Throughout her career, Kerry has held key roles, including District Literacy Specialist, District Intervention Specialist, and Instructional Coach, where she developed expertise in structured literacy, dyslexia, and specific reading interventions. She is also a Certified National LETRS Trainer, developing and presenting professional development for teachers and principals. For the past year, Kerry has brought this expertise to Literacy Tree, where she teaches small groups of students to master the foundational skills needed to become confident, proficient readers. Inspired by her own experience as a mother to a child with dyslexia, Kerry is passionate about the belief that literacy is a deserved right for all students.
