Ali Giska is a literacy educator with more than 20 years of experience in literacy and language arts education. She spent 10 years teaching high school English before serving for 10 years as a literacy coach, supporting teachers and students in developing strong reading and writing skills. She currently teaches 8th grade English and brings classroom, coaching, and literacy expertise to her work with students and educators.

She is passionate about evidence-based literacy instruction and has extensive training in the science of reading and structured literacy, including LETRS certification and training as a Wilson presenter. Ali has been part of the Literacy Tree team since May 2025, working with families and caregivers as a Parent Advisor.
